A kit to convert what is normally an externally mounted slave cylinder on the RX8 6 speed gearbox to a hydraulic concentric release.
With many cars there are clearance issues with the external cylinder hitting the gearbox tunnel and therefore changing to a concentric cylinder that fits inside the gearbox, more clearance is gained between the gearbox and gearbox tunnel.
This kit is setup to suit the 90mm clutch height on a pinto or Zetec that is using an 1800 flywheel and pinto clutch.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR CLUTCH HEIGHT BEFORE ORDERING AS SHIMS MAY BE REQUIRED
For other engines or different clutch heights plus get in touch before ordering to confirm the mounting plate spacer length.
The kit contains the following parts:
Mounting plate
5 off Mounting bolts for bolting the mounting plate to the bellhousing
3 off Mounting bolts for bolting the slave cylinder to the mounting plate
Hydraulic concentric slave cylinder with bearing
Instructions for fitting the kit are shown in the pictures.
